Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins

Sent to a school for paranormal misfits, Sophie finds herself among other witches, warlocks, fae, and shapeshifters. Sophie has never fit in and things are no different at Hex Hall. When she finds herself the rooming with Jenna, the only vampire at the school, and has crossed the popular crowd, fitting in still hasn't gotten any better for her. To make matters worse, Sophie falls for Archer Cross, the boyfriend of one of the popular girls. Then the murders start and her roommate is blamed. Sophie knows Jenna didn't kill those girls, sets out to clear Jenna, and find out who really did murder the girls.

I found this book to be a fast read. Sophie is a walking disaster - if she can mess something up, she does. The characters seem real and the story moves fast. Entertaining and funny with a touch of romance and mystery. What more could you ask for?
